Freedom 2 fly 4 all - shapes in Nature
For the Freedom2Fly4All fundraiser I made 5 total collections of work. They are all made out of reused materials with the goal of resembling shapes from the natural world blanketed in bright colors. Each separate collection is detailed below.
ConstEllation Cords
Reused Camping and Outdoors Gear, Cotton Cord
Colorado River Cords
Reused Fabric Scraps , Cotton Cord, Floral Wire
Drip Doodle Canvases
Reused Paper, Upcycled Canvases, Cotton Thread, Acrylic Paint
Floating fiber hoops
Reused Paper, Reused Fabric Scraps, Cotton Cord, Bamboo Hoop
Sunrise Paper Tapestry (auction piece)
reused tissue paper, cotton string and a found stick dimensions: 40” x 36”
The paper is hand-stitched together to create a dreamy cloud-like composition. Accessible to both homeowners and renters, it is lightweight enough to be hung from hooks or command strips.
